Got an impact wrench for Father’s Day. Ryobi, since I already had the battery and charger free from my brother. I used it to drive the screws into this sandbox to try it out. Was that overkill? Maybe. Was it fun? Hell yes it was. The 3 year old ran inside and slammed the door when I started using it. With some encouragement from mommy, he learned that it wasn’t so bad if you cover your ears. Just like with the circular saw.
Also, the offspring has no clue what this is yet, but he loves jumping in and out of it. Especially when the dog joins in.

TIP: put a lid on it, cats love huge toilets.

I’m planning to just throw a tarp over it.

A+ — a decent set of power tools is a must for anyone these days.

Impact drivers are excellent, but decent impact bits and good screws make all the difference - I spend a fortune on both.

I love impact drivers. When those came out, it was a total game changer.

Nice work sir. We had a giant sand box as kids and loved it.

Thanks! I have find memories of our sandbox. This thing is a dwarf compared to the 8x8 box my brother built, though. They’ll have 3 kids soon and have a lot of others over, so they decided they needed a huge one.
